Oh my God….the poor pooch! That vacant look so often goes hand in hand with a traumatic spitball attack…and sadly many victims never regain thier senses, only to wander through life muttering bitter phrases and transfer aggressing towards anyone showing a modicum of sensibility.
Truly a sad story.

We used to throw Christians to the lions in old times as well but we know better now. Teaching our children to indulge in this dangerous activity is ludicrous.

Truly, everyone must see how our public safety is compromised by such thing.

It starts with a soda straw and then becomes a full blown case of spitballs… worse than heroin it is.

DVM needs to read Ingrid’s view on using animals for personal vendettas and if as Dr. Hawkins says, it is a sexually receptive expression, then ban sex too.

I am in favor of straw paper blowing and as the historical anthropological archaeological record clearly shows this ritual was highly valued in ancient cultures including Greek, Roman, and Egyptian classical eras as well as in the noble kingdoms of the far east. Surely this ancient custom should be practiced and preserved for posterity. How our children would beam at the knowledge that their parents partook in a celebration of straw paper blowing as one of the steps to creating a warm and happy household. I am shocked that anyone with 10 fingers and a keyboard could be uncharitable enough to dispute this rare and exotic art/science.

PS I’m teaching my dog to blow straw papers.

apropos of a totally different incident, let me remind one and all that just because someone is on drugs does not mean that they weren’t also a victim of vicious spitballers.

in my own case, i’ve been on oxcontin, vicodin, valium, midol, sudafed and nyquil syrup while being bombarded with paper straw wrappers. and that was just last night at perkins restaurant.

My brother, Clem Hawkins, is a doctor, and a specialist in the treatment of the disorders of salivary glands and Tourette’s syndrome. he says that this woman was likely the victim of a person who had to spit because he or she had Tourettes and was at a loss for WORDS. He says perhaps the spit is less offensive than the words would have been because when a Tourette’s person has the salivary glands removed, as is a common form of treatment, the STUFF THAT COMES OUTA THEIR MOUTH, HOOOO BOY! As a treatment he suggests the victim go soak her head in a mixture of urinal cakes, dissolved in pig blood, and some lysol.

this business of shooting soda straw wrappers SEEMS harmless, but nearly all serial axe murderers started out by exhibiting this insidious symptom, often in grade school lunchrooms. I would wear eye protection and full hazmat gear on dates with this lady. Have your will prepared. I understand you have (although you did not say it) a fascination with imminent death, and thus I understand your attraction to the female. a normal female would simply save up enough spittle and get a lungful of air and aim for your eye, or necktie, usually while your mother was watching. This is a healthy sign of the sexually receptive woman and should be treated as such. For the soda straw symptom, I would be fully armed at all times and prepared to expect the worst.

These spitballers are classic thugs. They infiltrate peaceful neighborhoods and frighten the doo-doo out of children and innocent puppies. And by the time the authorities arrive they are gone and all that remains are flecks of reconstitute wood pulp, made wet from saliva, and dried by the winter sun.

I would gladly spend my tax dollars on a national patrol to rid our fine country of these nefarious ——– hoodlums!

i’m afraid that many will! maybe all of them. the gangbanging spitballers will not only kill decent people but leave their ‘calling card’ (even if it soaked and balled up). the damage a spitball can do is significant in the hands or should i say mouth of the vicious, the hard of heart. they live on a primal level, where fear and violence rule.

i swear i have seen drool on my fiancee’s lips and it gives me a chill.

Spitballs are simply spitballs, like any other projectile, no worse. They are popular right now, and easily acquired. Before it was just plain spit, then gum, tobacco spittal, watermelon seeds, goobers, etc. All of the afore have had their day in the sun….and what they all have in common is the potential to be abused by the spitter.

Responsible spitters use spitoons, the grass or dirt, the toilet, trash or sink. It is not fair to punish those who spit their spitballs in appropriate places by taking their spitballs from them. This does nothing to correct the problem. People who use their spitballs to attack others are law breakers anyway! It is the action that is WRONG; not the thing being used!

Outlaw spitballs, and those who spit paper at people will continue doing so since they are already lawbreakers, or will simply resort to spitting something else. Will you then want that thing criminalized until there is nothing to spit?!!

I enjoy spitting paper. I keep my spitballs on my property or in my mouth at all times, have learned to spit accurately into the proper receptacle, and do not ever use them to harass others.

I do not see why I should have to pay for the criminal acts of others by losing my spitballs.

Punish the guile; not the projectile!
